-Price of a full take of gas...$40.
-Tolls from DC to Philly...$11 North...$6 South.
-Parking at South Street...$8
-Total price...$65.
-Price of 2 tickets from Ticketmaster those bums...$73....thats besides the point.
-The look on my face standing outside of the TLA, 15 mins before the show is about to start, and being told it was canceled because Mikes voice was shot....Priceless.
Now I get to double all those cost again because I get to go back up on Sunday because they are doing a make up show. I guess I feel ok about it. I am going to see them again on Tues here in DC. I am still thinking I may return the tickets for money. Not sure yet.

Holy shit, that's our story, too, except we had to pay $10 to park. And hey, Agent, you forgot to mention the fucking hassle of the getting-out-of-D.C.-at-rush-hour part of the equation. As for that face you made when you saw the sign, well, ditto that one bigtime. At least we got to have a cheesesteak out of the whole deal.
Hope the little bitch gets better by Tuesday

You mean the 9:30 Club this time, right? Yeah, we're going to that on Tuesday, but going back up to Baltimore the next night is a bit too much during the week. Where is Sonar? I saw Mike Ness solo at that place near Towson, but I've never been to Sonar. Still tickets available? I know on the way home Tuesday night after the show (unless someone gets SICK again and cancels) the wife and I will be all stoked up, saying, "We're fucking there tomorrow night!" Then the alarm will go off at 5:20 the next morning and we'll look at each other and say, "No...fucking...way!"

Yeah I am going to the one at Sonar. The place in towson is the rech room. The show is not there. Sonar is in Baltimore, by the block. Just outside of the redlight district. Its an awsome place for a social d show. I would say its better then the TLA.

Oh yeah, the Recher...I remember now.
Gonna have to check out Sonar some time. Right in the heart of the city, huh? Glad it's not in the Fells Point area. Social D and Fells Point just don't mesh. Now, the red light district and SxDx...should make for a high-energy show. I'll try to give a brief review of Tuesday's show. I'm sure it will be the same old thing, which is always great, but you know...pull the kid on stage and do the new school/old school speech, "threaten" to kick someone's ass down in front, hackneyed political statement wrapped in ambiguity about where he really stands, stop a song about half a verse in to fix a guitar...AND IT WILL BE FUCKING AWESOME AND BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SHOW OUT THERE!!!

Wow that was about the best "in a nutshell" discription I have ever heard. Maybe the whole philly thing wasn't that bad. I hate seeing the same thing twice now that I think about it.
